Our Ride

Being our first time owning an RV we did quite a bit of research and talking about what was important to us as a family before deciding on a used 2021 Holiday Rambler Nautica

Ample sleeping space, full size fridge, and bathroom space were priorities for us. Right now our little boys get the bunk beds and we installed cargo netting to prevent falls (which works…I forgot to put it up one night and sure enough Jace rolls right out). Our older kids share the drop down queen; so far there are no issues, but the kitchen booths can turn into a bed, and Eli has no problem falling asleep in one of the recliners. There ARE options!

We lucked up big time with the bathroom situation! I thought we needed two full bathrooms (talk about a huge price difference!) but having an extra sink and counter space outside the shower/toilet area works great for our group.

Having a full size fridge was not optional since our family EATS! The pantry is a bit tight, but there’s plenty of room under the RV to put a few plastic totes with nonperishable items

The “eating” surface isn’t large enough for all 6 of us to eat at there at the same time, but most often we eat in shifts. The Littles are up before anyone else, and they tend to graze throughout the day anyway. Our table gets used mostly for coloring and other travel activities used to occupy the kids while the adults get ready/cleaned/a break!

This might be silly to some, but I was pretty excited about this-different colored plates/cups/utensils-each person has their assigned color and has to wash their OWN dishes! Mom is NOT getting stuck in the kitchen all day!

Drew likes to grill on the blackstone, so we plan for most of our meals to be cooked outside. This helps tremendously as we have to be out keeping an eye on the kids anyway!

The storage underneath the motorhome is AH-mazing! We have chairs, scooters, small bikes, the grill and its accessories, a table, and probably a ton more things I don’t know about (My job is the inside!)
